  • The ability to print slides for teacher and student use
    • a linear, quarter-by-quarter flowchart of a Capstone Course (for optional use)

    • Models and worksheets for students for writing Essential and Guiding Questions for research
    • Instructions for 2 student assignments: (researching and annotating sources and composing and annotated bibliography)

    • Rubrics for both assignments
    • A slideshow explaining the purpose and format of an annotated bibliography

Here are some highlights of the ways to use this bundle:

  • To introduce students to the usefulness of thorough research and understanding the depth and breadth of a topic of choice.
  • To guide students in focusing research queries using essential (broad, multi-faceted) questions and guiding (narrower, more objective) questions
  • To ground student’s further research in authentic, valid sources
